![]() I’m a system integrator and on spare time I like to do a bit of reverse engineering, so yesterday I started to decompile ETS6 source code for x86 with dnspy to try to crack it(I own several licenses), it being a c# app it is quite easy to peek at the code, anyway, I started dnspy, loaded everything from ETS6 folder, and started to take a look, aaand WHAT THE FUCK AM I LOOKING AT? The obfuscation used is trash, for loops with no conditions and break statements, gotos, random classes, int overflowing everywhere, random enumerators. BUT IF THE SOFTWARE FREEZES EVRY 5 FUCKING SECONDS, I just can’t. You know when you use a software and it feels solid, robust and stable? That’s what I felt with ETS5, diagnostic worked great too… and I lost it all to ETS6, it feels like any other Microsoft bloatware, don’t get me wrong, having a login page is great, multiple tabs and all that fancy shit. ![]() Hello KNX people, I just want to rant about ETS6 and how much it is a downgrade to ETS5, maybe they released it too early.
